90 Days Diabetes Cure | type 2 diabetes
The 90 Day Diabetes Cure will teach you how to:
- Eat Right – The American Diabetes Association[i] recommends cutting back on meal sizes and going for smaller portions, drinking calorie-free drinks (but not splenda- and I will tell you why), eating low-fat versions of regular foods, eating more grilled or baked lean meats, eating more vegetables and cutting back on high-fat dressings, toppings or condiments.
- Exercise – More than 80% of people with Type 2 Diabetes are overweight or obese. Carrying excess weight – especially around the abdomen – greatly increases the risk for Diabetes. Reducing your body weight even as little as 10% can have a positive impact on the body’s ability to process/absorb insulin. A basic, easy, not fanatical way to improve your circumstances.
- Get more rest – A recent study [ii] published in the May 2010 Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism showed that getting an inadequate night’s sleep (less than 8 hours) can increase insulin resistance, consequently increasing the risk of Type 2 diabetes.
- Stop Smoking – Smokers are 50-90% more likely to develop diabetes than non-smokers. Smoking can harm the pancreas, increase blood sugar levels, and impair the body’s ability to use the insulin it does manage to produce, as shown in a 1993 study.
